The Expo/Vermont Metro E Line station is at the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, roughly a 15-minute walk from the property. The property sits in a residential area patrolled by both LAPD's Southwest Division, whose station is on West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard about a mile south, and USC's Department of Public Safety, which extends coverage into the surrounding off-campus neighborhoods. As with any urban residential area, staying aware of surroundings at night is sensible; prospective renters should consult the LAPD crime mapping tool and official city sources for current safety conditions.
